I needed a package sent urgently across the state and explicitly mentioned that I needed the fasted shipment method and that I was willing to a premium. The guy at the counter told me they had an option that would get it delivered there by Friday end-of-day.
It isn't till I get home that I look at the tracker and it says "sent by USPS", which was annoying because
1) I know USPS can take its time
2) The guy at the counter didn't make me aware of this, I didn't even ask for a budget option, this was a rare instance where I needed the fastest delivery and was willing to pay.
Mind you, the receipt still said that it would be delivered by Friday EOD, but when I checked the tracker just now it said that it would be delivered on Saturday. Aside from this messing up some timelines for me, I feel like a fool for paying for 1-day shipping now.
