I recently got selected to be a loader and let me tell you I am dying. Last night was my 3rd night actively loading as opposed to sitting in orientation. I’ve cried every night. The last 2 I ended up a spaghetti noodle who can’t walk right let alone lift anything. I fight off sleep driving home. Don’t get me started on being moved from trailer to trailer, having to work off of someone else’s sloppy walls, and never getting to stay in one spot long enough to feel confident.
What should I do? Pretty sure I lose my trainer, who I’ve come to rely on, on Friday. I’ve already asked about switching positions. My super said he asked to be switched too and they made him supervisor instead. I’m qualified for that (bachelors degree, work experience, etc)
At this point, I’ve got multiple leaders rooting for me to stay. They say if I haven’t quit yet, I’ve got potential. But I’m just not sure.
