Why are shipping supplies so overpriced at a UPS store?

Post Body

Posting this as a vent but this is absurd and I hope someone else looking up the cost of a box at the UPS store or buying boxes at the UPS store can see this.

I've moved tons of times, always get boxes for free at stores or buy them cheap from Walmart or Home Depot. Ended up in a situation where I didn't have a vehicle and nearest option was a one mile walk to a UPS store. I called in and the guy said to come in to buy boxes, didn't know the price and wouldn't tell me. I show up and a 14" x 14" x 14" is $11-$13? The hell? The same box at Walmart or Home Depot is $2. It is literally cheaper to Instacart boxes than buying from the UPS Store.
