Him talking about getting hurt when his wife gave birth really hit home with me. I was ran off the road while riding a 4 wheeler when my wife was 9 months pregnant. I suffered a compound fracture of my Humerus just above my left elbow. When I went into surgery the surgeon fucked up and hit my radial nerve with a pin while doing an external fixator, leaving my left arm crippled for the rest of my life. It was paralyzed for months until my insurance approved a surgery (Median to radial nerve transfer) which gave me about 70% use of my hand.

Needless to say I lost my job while my wife was on maternity leave from her job. We burned through our savings and ended up not being able to afford our apartment and became homeless for a little bit until we could move in with her mom and dad that had been painting their house. So we moved in with her parents that were in the middle of a divorce and they had their nephew who was a recovering heroin addict living in the basement (that we found smoking meth in the house while my newborn was there). It came to a point where I literally had to sell dick pics to a gay guy that really liked me to be able to buy diapers for my child... Since then I've worked my ass off and can now proudly say I'm an executive for a delivery company in Salt Lake. It was the hardest time of my life and I came really close to Ryan Reynoldsing myself a few times but we made it. If you're struggling in life just know it will get better, but only if you make it get better. You have to fight tooth and nail for it, and don't ever stop.
