Hi, I just transferred to UNLV a bit ago from CS after getting my associate's degree and this is my 2nd semester.
I'm not sure if it's because a combination of things or since I haven't taken Math in a while, but I am really struggling in some aspects with the class. I don't know if it's because it's online, and the last math class I took wasn't or because of the professor. The professor's accent, can make it hard to understand the lectures and the information.
There's a lot of work; more than so than the other two classes I'm taking. I don't directly hate Webassign, but the videos showcased aren't the most helpful as they often skip steps. The exams are formatted a little strangely. It's odd because I don't recall ever struggling that much when I took the Math at CSN.
Which has me worried for future classes like Calculus I & II. I completely bombed the first exam and I've had so many hassles with the class.
I've got a C right now, but I've been trying to get it more with Professor Lenard's videos that were recommended to me. I've never failed a class before, I'm hoping I can pull through.
I'm a Computer Science Major by the by.
