I have recently begun a project to wire up my house with ethernet ports and to have proper wifi access throughout the house. 2 main floors basement. As part of that I was planning on going in on Ubiquiti devices. For now I just want to do networking stuff not much interested in setting up cameras and such. I am getting 2 16 port switches for 2 nodes that will have a backbone connection to each other and 3 APs, one for each floor. I would also be wanting to replace my current netgear router(with a Security Gateway) and also maybe get a dedicated controller (like the cloud key). Am I correctly understanding that the Dream Router could provide both functions and take over for an AP?
