Udm pro sfp+ rj45 Cooper adaptor not configuring

Just got a udm pro to replace my edge router lite and bring the UniFi controller to my rack. I bought the rj45 copper sfp to hook up to my modem since it is only rj45.

I had to set up the udm on the wan 1 port just to get started but I was hoping yo move my line over to wan2 with the sfp adaptor. I’m not getting any activity on that port at all and I’m trying to change the auto negotiate down to 1000 but it’s not actually an ability in the UniFi software from what I can see.

Is this possible or am I wasting my time trying to run the sfp port?
