Configuring Cloud Gateway Ultra using another router
Post Body

Hi Guys,

My first order from Ubiquiti is going to arrive next week. Before I migrate the entire network to run under CGU.

I want to configure Gateway before replacing my older router. I have FTTH to home run by Huawei modem followed by a ethernet cable to WAN connection on Sagecom router.

Can I plug in my Ubi gateway to LAN in Sagecom in order to configurate it and update it also create a Wifi network from there? I don't want to let down the entire network for couple of minutes.

I've presume if Cloud Gateway is set to DHCP it will pick up after configuration and plugging in the actual WAN connection to it after?

Also can I configure AP's that are plugged in into TP-Link switch while CGU is going to be connected to Sagecom for configuration? Or I will have to connect AP's straight to CGU for configuration?

Sagecom local IP is 192.168.1.254.
