It hasn't happened often, so I don't want to get too into the weeds on this, and when it has happened the community has been helpful in reporting obvious offenses (so quick shout out/thanks to all you lovely Ospreys helping out!) But I'll put this simply:

BUYING, SELLING, AND CONSUMING MARIJUANA OR RELATED PRODUCTS WITHOUT PROPER AUTHORITY OR PERMISSION IS ILLEGAL IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA. EVEN ATTEMPTS WITH INTENT TO DO SO ARE ILLEGAL. Subreddit rules (like many subreddits) include basic Reddiquette which specifically states not to engage in illicit activity.

Posts that attempt to sell or acquire marijuana or related products are subsequently illicit actions and in direct violation of the subreddit rules. Stop making these posts.

This subreddit is NOT the place for you to try and score some green, likely similar to most other subreddits (even trees doesn't allow the facilitation of sales/purchases of weed or attempting to find connects in an area). So consider this post the first, final, and annoyingly necessary statement that any posts found in violation of this rule will be removed without warning. Users submitting the post may subsequently be banned. Per that statement, this post will be updated later when an official warning and penalty system has been decided upon regarding these posts. It's unlikely that such posts will result in an insta-permaban but the mod team is aware of who has violated these rules already and will consider this in determining the process from here on out.

While on the subject: posts simply about the consumption of marijuana are not relevant to the Subreddit and have been/will be removed with a warning to the user. But repeated offenses of this rule will result in a ban.
