Hey Hikers!
My wife and I have 2 weeks off work in May and I'm struggling to choose a trail(s) to hike.
All Covid restrictions dependant of course!
What we've done so far:
West Highland Way
Pennine Way
Wainwright's Coast to Coast
What we have planned for 2021:
May - ???
July - Cotswold Way
September - Cleveland Way
We were looking at the Offa's Dyke Path, but we lived in North Wales for some time and are quite familiar with the Northern half of it.
Plus it doesn't come across as grand as some of the other official and unofficial routes across the UK.
Personally I'd rather do the Cambrian Way if I'm going to walk the length of Wales.
We'd love to hear your recommendations please, either 1 x 2 week or 2 x 1 week trails.
Open to anything across the UK, Scotland would require a days travel at least as we live near Bakewell in the Peak District, so something like the Southern Upland Way may be too much of a squeeze in 2 weeks.
In a bit of a difficult position really where many trails seem to either be 1 week or require 3 weeks.
