Post Body

Was over at my Grandad’s the other day up in rural Norfolk. He recently bought a metal detector and let me give it ago around his big garden. Found a lot of rusty old nails, bed springs, scrap metal until I found this. Cleaned it with some water and an old toothbrush (perhaps not the best idea? I was a bit excited so forgive me…). I collect coins but I’ve never tried metal detecting for them - this is the oldest coin I have by far. Not bad condition too, glad I was able to make out the date on it.
