Welcome to the first day of the revised r/UK_Affairs

Following the poll we ran at the weekend, it has been decided (by you) that the sub should become restricted and so only approved members can post and comment.

The restriction will come into force at some point today, the sub rules and welcome message will be updated accordingly.

If you wish to become an approved member please send us a chat or DM (you can't attach files to mod mail) including a picture of a piece of paper which has written on it: today's date, your username, what you're looking for (e.g. M4F) and the name of the sub, please also have it so one of your hands is in the picture. (Any verification pics including any sort of nudity will not be accepted and will result in a one week ban).

I.e.

The rules will remain as they are, they will just be updated to reflect the restricted sub status - for instance if an approved user comments "DM me" on a post, they will receive a one week ban.
