Good Morning all,

It's another beautiful sunny day (day 2 of our standard 3 day summer I guess).

We want to make this the best UK affairs community on Reddit and we'd like some suggestions from you guys and girls as to what you would like to see?

A couple of ideas we have had:

Only allow posts by authorised users, when someone joins the community they message the mod team with their age, sex, what they're looking for etc. though this could cause a bit of a backlog.

Another idea was to have a Mod post every Friday for people to comment on with who they are and what they're looking for, so that people can just start chats with people that float their boat all in one place.

If you've got an idea, post it below - there is no such thing as bad ideas...except for really bad ones.

Whilst I've got everybody's attention, I'd also like to reiterate that this is a positive community. It has come to our attention that someone has been going through and downvoting posts and comments for no reason - this isn't cool and isn't welcome here, if you think downvoting others will make your posts/comments stand out more, it doesn't you just succeed in making the OP/OC feel a little bad for a couple of seconds.
