Revolut froze my account as a result of incorrect data

As per the title, Revolut, seemingly out of the blue just froze my account citing KYC as the reason and were asking me when I visited a particular country. Long story short, I had never visited said country and their data was incorrect. It took several days and a threat of escalation to the ombudsman for them to realise their mistake. Be aware people and have a back up card as app based banks seemingly can do whatever they want under the guise of ‘financial regulations and money laundering’ checks.
