Title really - I took out an Amex with the intention of building my credit score and some points in the process. Also registered for a postal vote so I have an electoral address. My credit score doesn't show either of these, which is annoying.
Has anyone had this and know how to solve it?
My gut feel is that perhaps the address isn't quite the same on Amex's books as the various credit providers, so whilst Amex is providing the data to the credit agencies, I don't think the agencies are linking the data to me? Reason why I think this is that I live in London and my address is a bit weird (used to be a business address and don't think the landlord ever told anyone it wasn't a business address any longer).
I called Amex and they said they can change the address I have on record with them to whatever the Agencies have me down as under their syntax. Also have requested my statutory credit report to see what the agencies call 'home' for me.
Just wanted to ask and see if anyone else has had this issue and (hopefully) solved it?
