Overdraft Advice
Post Body

I am a student in Scotland and just before uni finished I had spent my entire £500 planned overdraft, however I was under the impression that I would get one last student loan payment (SAAS payment) before the summer break to cover this. (This is why I spent it all as I had a few things I had to splurge on that month) But what I didn’t know was I wasn’t eligible for the last payment and instead I would get it at the start of the next academic year because of when my uni finished etc now my question is, is it better to wait until saas Payment’s start again in September and to clear the debt then or try to pay it back bit by bit. I am working myself stupid trying to clear it but I am not making enough working 5 days a week to do it and it is stressing me out because it’s making my credit score drop, so really what will the damage be if u just pretend it doesn’t exist until September or should I do something else to deal with it? It is a student account so there are no fees associated with the overdraft.
