Getting paid via limited company

Post Body

Hello /r/UKPersonalFinance how are you doing today. I'm currently looking for a new job role and have been asked if I would be willing to do some freelance IT work. I was told that I could need to either go through an umbrella company or create my own limited company. However as I'm a complete noob to stuff like this I wanted to get some advice on this.

What would be the best way create a limited company and pay an accountant to do my books or go via umbrella company?

What are the advantages and disadvantages to either or?

Thanks Leprejohn
