Is there any goverment help for paternity leave?

Hello, I am wondering if there's anything I can do here, As a male, I'm having a child in September and will need to look after my child after for a week or 2 due to personal reason with the mother.
I am currently "Self Employed" sub contracted to one company and have been since March. If I take 2 weeks off, I get no money for them 2 weeks I don't work, Is there anything from the goverment or similar I can do or apply for?
Scotland region if its specific.
