uni student in england ; buying a flat ?
Post Body
hiya, uni student currently in my first year (18) who has about enough cash in savings and inheritance that - when combined with my maintenance loan for y2 and y3, could afford to buy a flat in the area of my university.
Is this a bad idea? assuming I can find a place and buy it outright, (I doubt I'd be offered a mortgage given I'm not employed and don't plan to be until I finish my degree.) doesn't this seem far better than spending 6.5 grand or so per year on halls?
