So I have retired from the police at 50 and have a pension that pays about £1000 a month, and will go up to about £1500 at state pension age.
I intend to carry on working and was just wondering what/where would be the best place to invest this money if I don’t need it for monthly expenses?
I’d first like to build up an emergency fund short term.
Can I re-invest it into another pension?
I would ideally like to fully give up work at 60 at the latest so whatever I pay it into I would like the option of getting it out when I chose if I needed to.
Thanks. 🙂
