Hello! My name is Danny and I am a physically disabled student. I posted earlier about looking for a roommate, , and now I’m looking for an additional one. My roommate and I recently signed a lease for a 3 bedroom at 55 E Green for the upcoming 2024-25 school year (I will have graduated by then so I won’t be a student, but I will be a full time working professional living in the area). There is one bedroom still available in our unit, and we are looking for someone to take it. (Rent is $866.67. We signed a group lease, so we’d just have to add you name to our current lease )
I should note that I am not a typical roommate. Because of my disability, I require the use of personal assistants to help me with activities of daily living (such as dressing and showering, among other things) since I can’t do those on my own. So whoever I live with will have to be okay with my assistants going in and out of the apartment. Whoever I live with will not have to be one of the people who takes care of me , although I would greatly prefer to live with someone who would be okay with the idea of potentially being one of my assistants (and if you were to be one of my assistants, you would get paid, and I would train you myself)
I am a friendly guy who likes to have a good time and just really enjoys being around people, but I would prefer to not live with a total stranger. So if anyone is interested, I’d like to meet up so we could talk about it. I understand that what I am asking is a lot, but if anyone is looking for a roommate for next year and is okay with living with a disabled guy, please feel free to reach out and message me.
Thank you
