It seems to me like quite a bit of the discussion on The UFO/UAP Phenomenon very quickly becomes a call to see “evidence”.
I understand this completely. This makes total sense to me.
Unfortunately it seems like there’s zero consensus on what qualifies as evidence.
I understand how a single person’s anecdotal sighting with zero secondary confirmation or photo/video proof isn’t evidence.
Meanwhile…I consider the collective data on the “tic tac” video evidence. That includes the radar data, the testimony of the pilots, the video itself…What is it all if it’s NOT evidence?
Realizing there’s a huge gap in data between those two types of sightings: where do we draw the line on what’s considered “evidence”?
Will some folks only be convinced when the UAP lands on the White House lawn and aliens emerge?
Even if the government decides to display a craft won’t folks assume we just built it for show?
I think there needs to be a discussion about what constitutes evidence and possibly how belief influences that designation.
