Had an interesting discussion with someone else on here about something that's been floating around in my brain for a while and I just wanted to get some more opinion on it. TLDR at the bottom.
My girlfriend has always been a firm believer in ghosts and spirits, but only until recently have I really seen any evidence of such things myself. In short, what truly convinced me was this movement of disclosure coming off the coattails of what seemed like my first paranormal encounter. We both heard very fast Barefoot footsteps right outside our door in the hallway at about 3:00 a.m.. made us both shoot up out of the bed, and sweep the house with gun in hand, petrified, only to find nothing. At the time, I thought this was just really strange and couldn't really rack my brain for an explanation. ( no amount of us running around Barefoot could even come close to recreating the light weightedness and speed upon which these feet slapped full strength across our hallway)
Disclosure has made me think more openly about what we can't perceive, at least the right way. Grush's comments of NHI having many factions about them leads me into a very open-minded position. I guess the short version of this post is whether or not anybody out there is of the mindset that ghosts or Spirits as we've conventionally assign them are just some level of other dimensional entity that we've given a name tag. This also leads me into the thought as to whether or not these types of things can be willed into fruition, like your typical ghost activity would look like. What I can only describe as reaching out towards unknown barriers that we can't necessarily see.
We hear all these crazy stories about people on psychedelics, such as DMT, communing and having conversations with what they're convinced are real conscious beings for hours on end as well as encountering other weird things like NHI or UAP sightnings. The drug aspect takes much of their credibility away to the common person, but what if it's not just hallucination, not just delirium? like some others have thrown around, I'm of the mindset that we are just radios tuned to an improper frequency, and I just feel like I've seen so many examples now over the course of disclosure of people tuning themselves to be more receptive.
Is that all that's truly necessary? For us to be receptive and to reach out? To be unafraid and welcoming? Please let me know what you think about my tin foil hat rambling below. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
TLDR: Paranormal encounter led me to believe in what I cant see. What if NHI cover more broad of a spectrum of our unexplained phenomenon in the real world like ghosts? If ghosts can be communed with and interacted with like so many have seen, does it mean it's just a matter of how receptive we are to getting uglier answers, or simply wanting to see the unknown, can will it to fruition?
