I was at a resort in Cancun for a work retreat. We had dinner on the beach and I ate a ton and I don’t drink alcohol, so I left early right after eating. Walking back up to the resort entrance, I saw this.
It was completely silent. Wind was kind of gusty but this thing just floated. No blinking lights or anything. It never changed direction or speed, it just floated on a straight trajectory.
I thought it might be a drone but the other odd thing was the sky was cloudless except for the cloud-like haze here. And the cloud in front of it stayed in front of it the whole time.
It was very odd. It just continued on out over the water.
The other weird thing was, I posted this to my IG story and a friend in Florida (where I live) who had no idea I was in Cancun replied to the story and said “I saw that last night too!”
