Small caves in cliffs to watch sunset?

Hi all, an alumnus here. When I studied at UCSB I once had a date with a guy who took me to this place at the cliffs that had some hollow bits, that many students were using to chill, drink some beers, and watch the sunset. It was a short drive so it must have been pretty close to IV.
I'm coming back to visit soon but I have no idea where this place was, does anyone have an idea what it's called? Many thanks 🙏
