I'm currently working on CS 8 and trying to decide if I want to continue doing python (CS 9) or learn C (CS 16). I'm a data science major and was hoping to get people's opinions on the pro and cons of each coding language. I know C is a little harder, but does that mean I am more likely to get a job compared to python? Or does it even matter which coding language I learn? Let me know your thoughts. I'm also wondering if depending on which language I learn, will that affect the type of job I can get?
It'd also help if I can get people's opinion on which class they'd liked just in case the coding language I learn might not matter.
ps. My pass time is on Thursday (2/16), so Ill read the replies before then.
edit: CS 9 was full. I'm going to try to waitlist it, and if not, I'll see what else I can do :(
