MGT18 - Attendance to own class time matters?

I may change the classes that I'm going to take this coming quarter around, and I'm looking at MGT18 for DEI. Sadly, all the classes are filled up except for the 8am one. I've heard there are clickers for the class, but if I sign up for the 8am lecture, can I just go to the later class? Or would it better to waitlist?
