Student renting surfboard until they are more settled?

Do you know of students who have rented boards for a couple months or so? Heading to new dorms this week and not ready to commit to schlepping down a surfboard since don't know the actually available (living in a suite at Catalyst/6th). Any advice welcome. Thx.
