Just finished MATH 109 during summer and the class GPA ends up being 1.8. The professor's syllabus explicitly states that he curves the median to a C /B- but I don't think he did that considering 30% of the class failed. The median on the final ended up being 39% and I got 34%. When I did the calculations, even if he curves the median to the lower end (C ), I should've gotten a C in the class. What's most shocking is that I didn't even get a D, in fact, nobody in the class did despite a letter grade of D being represented in the syllabus. Should I file a compliant/appeal? How do I even get started on this?
