Does anyone actually exist in the financial aid office?
Post Body

Like seriously? Wtf is going on here? You would think that UCSD’s financial aid office would be more competent considering the reputation of the school. For the past week I’ve been trying to get in contact with them about my parent plus loan which hasn’t been updated in my financial aid portal even though i completed and was approved for the application about three months ago. Just now i checked my financial aid portal after getting an email that said to accept financial offers and I was like “oh great!” until i looked at the portal and my parent plus loan had literally disappeared off of the entire page. I tried calling them and going on the zoom thing, and every time i do i get put on hold for hours. I’ve literally never talked to a living breathing person in the financial aid office. I live in the Fresno area but tomorrow I’m actually going to San Diego to visit some family, and I’m planning on going to UCSD and going to the financial aid office in person. Will this actually accomplish anything or will I just find a dusty abandoned building with tumbleweeds coming out of it?
