Students in grad housing who have a dog: what has your experience been like?

Post Body

Iโ€™ve been approved for to have an ESA in grad housing and will be adopting a dog before I move in. For any grad students who have a dog, how has it been? How do you manage the responsibilities that come with the dog and have you ever felt like itโ€™s too much to handle (I understand that a dog obviously comes with a lot of responsibilities and just want to be prepared for the absolute worst). What is the situation like with your housemates? Are the apartments too small for your dog, especially since they can only be free in your room and need to be leashed otherwise? Any tips/ things to keep in mind?
