Ineligible for Cal Grant?

On my financial aid offer, I was not awarded a Cal Grant, but received a UCSD Grant in Aid (GIA). During the financial aid Zoom meeting, I was informed that I’m ineligible for the Cal Grant this year. However, according to my WebGrants account, I’ve been awarded Cal Grant B. I was told that although I won’t receive the Cal Grant, I will still receive funding through the UCSD GIA. I plan to join the financial aid zoom tomorrow to ask again. Has anyone also dealt with this? Sorry if this is a dumb question, this is my first year at UCSD and have no one to help me with this.
