Hello everyone! My name is Julian and I'm a latin american last semester university student and I'm looking for universities to study a Computer Science Master in!
Many people have spoken about UCSD and how it has a great program for it!
Even if you don't study that, as international students, how have you felt in UCSD? Is it what you expected?
Even more, - In average, how much has your tuition been? (I heard people say 66k a year for a CS MS...) - Have you had any "surprise" expenses? (International fees, etc.)? - How expensive are the living expenses? Are you living on-campus or outside? * If outside, where? The biggest downside people have presented are San Diegos costs of living (I know people recomend La Jolla) - Are there enough TA opportunities? Should you count on them in your financial plan? How can I get a headstart in getting one? (Maybe contacting professors?) - For people in IT: How are the connections and career fairs? Are there many events and opportunities available? What companies are reaching out? (FAANG perphaps? haha)
And if there is someone with even more advice it is kindly received.
Thank you everyone!
