Hello, I'm a student looking for off campus housing next year that is preferably a single under $1200. I've been monitoring the FB housing groups every day and Craigslist too, it seems really competitive already but everything is still out of my price range. Would it be smart to commit to something more expensive now just to secure it, or will there be more openings later on? I just don't want to wait too long to find something but I also don't want to be too early and miss a better opportunity.
Worst comes to worst, there's a program on campus that will help house you until you find a place, it's called community rentals !!

I am so sorry, they're actually called the slug support program, they deal with immediate homelessness if you're not going to be able to live anywhere come the start of the quarter, you can read more abt it here!
