Welcome to UCI!
We're very glad that you're here. To help you out, here's some advice on getting the answers to your questions.
For most questions, it's best to call your department or the school directly.
For questions about things like how your financial aid works, transfer grade issues, major requirements, call (or email) your department directly to ensure accurate and up to date information.
If you have a question about student experiences and thoughts? Use the search bar! Try inputting key words from your question into the search bar to see if it has been asked
We're here to help. Not sure if it's been asked before? Too nervous to call your department? When in doubt, just make a post. We can help you figure out how to best get you the information.
Again, we're glad to have you. Good luck on this new part of your life, and keep zotting!
Keep in mind that there is not a lot of space in the room, any furniture cannot be taken out of the room (RAs tell residents this during that mandatory meeting right after move in, also in one of contracts you sign and turn in), and that all the furniture are heavy. Personally, I wouldn't bring another chair just because it is already cramped in the room. However, to compensate for the uncomfortable wooden chairs, I brought a pillow for the seat. Kinda like those mini-pillows used in dining chair sets. Also, I tried to go out of the room to study as much as possible: Aldrich, Ayala, Langson, Starbucks by BS3. I mainly used the wooden chairs for those occasional exam cramming sessions once or twice a quarter.

I was missing some of the required immunizations at the time of enrollment. When SPOP came, I went to the Student Health Center and asked if I can get my immunizations there once the quarter began since I didn't waive out of the USHIP. I scheduled an appointment for the required immunizations early in the fall quarter (maybe around early to late October) and everything was fine.
