Minimum requirements to meet as a first year?
Post Body

I am an incoming freshman this fall (batch of 2028) admitted for Materials Science and Engineering.

However, now Iā€™m considering switching to CS and want to take the least number of classes of Physics and Chemistry as possible.

I have a few questions and would be really grateful if someone could answer these for me.

  1. What are the bare minimum physics and chemistry classes I can take in my freshmen year before I switch my major?

  2. Do I need to meet certain credits to reach my second year? If yes, then how many credits and can I get those credits from various different courses? For example, some from CS courses, some from business and eco, a good amount from mathematics, and bare minimum from engineering, physics and chemistry courses.

  3. Please do share any official links or websites that elaborate if possible.

Would really appreciate any help or guidance on this topic. Please let me know if anyone has any views or a similar experience.
