Best way to meet people, make friends?

Hi y'all,
Just wondering what the situation is for everybody else. I have no idea how to meet people and make more friends, apart from clubs is there anything that y'all are doing? Most people seem to have their own social circles already so not sure how to go about it. If there's something that worked for you please feel free to share.
