My experience with StubHub ticket purchase.
Post Body

Ok I’ve been seeing lots of post and comments about purchasing 3rd party tickets so I figured I’d post my experience with StubHub and maybe others can chime in on other sites they’ve used and their experience.

So purchased GA floor for 10/8 show on StubHub, first time ever buying through them. Got my confirmation email and then my ticket email within 45 minutes.

The email says to “accept ticket” and follow instructions but it just brings you straight to ticketmasters website and has the barcode with the moving scanner line around the bar code.

Called StubHub to verify that this was legit, and they reassured it was and if there was any issues they’d refund or find new tickets.

Ticket worked perfectly fine for when it got scanned for GA numbered wristband in the morning of the show, and worked perfect for when we entered the venue.

You’re milage may very…

I’ve heard stories of sellers double listing on other sites and whichever gets sold the highest is where they send em. Can’t validate this but it can be a possibility.

Hopefully others can post their experiences here to consolidate the questions and answers.

I can tell you the person who purchased my extra ticket on StubHub and sat next to me had the same positive experience. I also know that TickPick will absolutely charge the seller up to 3x the listing price to get the buyer what they paid for (and you need a valid card on file for that purpose). They're my favorite to buy from.

I bought VIP GA from StubHub to Local Natives in Chicago. I received regular GA. StubHub demanded a screenshot of the wrong ticket, which isn't possible due to AXS/TM "security" features. VIP by then we're like 3x more than what I paid and StubHub was like nah, sorry. They said use the ticket I had and they'd give me a 25% "coupon" for a future purchase. Or don't use it and if I could figure out how to send a screenshot they'd refund me.

I'm ok with selling on StubHub but F buying from them in my opinion. I'll show up and meet the seller at the door if possible.

Super glad it worked out for you (and my buyer). What a show.
