As temperatures continued to warm in the oldest abd most mountainous parts of Terra, Hive Fleet Kappalachia began to wake. Limiting their incursions primarily for survival and territorial defense, the Fleet lacked an Alpha bio organism for leadership.

Greedy mine incursions gave way to an ancient lake bathed in darkness. Hereinafter tyrant had long lay dormant. It's prey had been limited, it's access to sunlight non-existent. While it bore a resemblance to the Tyranids of its Fleet, it possessed a color pattern somewhat resembling albinism.

The Tyrant would expand Kapplachia's reach with its psychic leadership, it's own raids became the thing of myth - an impossibly ghostly presence, leaving only savagery and slaughter in its wake.

OoC: I played my first games in a tournament this summer, during which I picked up a Hive Tyrant. During one of my games, an opponent shot at a squad of my termagants that had only been primed, as I'd been forced to make a late change. A friend joked: "You don't shoot the Whiite Buffalo!" That same weekend, a white bison calf was born in Yellowstone.

I decided to make my Tyrant in the inverse of my Fleet colors. C&C always welcome.
