Tips Against the New Ork Green Tide

Post Body

Hey Folks!

My usual opponent is an ork player and will be leaning heavily into the Green Tide detachment in the new ork codex. This means tons of boyz, up to 120, with a 5 invuln and sticky objectives every turn.

I already have a hard time with his Boyz heavy lists because they blender me once they get to me in melee. I'm thinking I'll need to continue leaning into gargoyles and chaf units to tie his units up, but I'm considering using one or two units of Barbgaunts. I haven't used them all that much, but I could target the odd units I'm unable to tie up with my chaff.

I play unending swarm, invasion, and synaptic nexus. I'm thinking unending swarm will be a tough match up but hopefully I'm wrong. My general strategy will be tying his units up, blastic him with exocrines, while attempting to keep a safe distance and play the objective game.

Am I missing any obvious tactic here? Thanks!
