I get It now
Post Body

Hi, necron overlord here, you may be wondering what I am doing here but fret not, my dearest hive mind, i'll explain. So i was with a friend in a Warhammer store the other day, and they were reaching us to play. Marines (salamanders) VS Tyranids (red and blue). The thing is, i never got the appeal of tyranids, they always seemed boring to me, but at one moment, i lowered my head to get a better look at them, and then It hit me. They looked like the waves on the beach, their carapaces formed the relentles waves of the never ending seas of monsters that everyone fears. Each miniature looked like a wave ready to hit the costline on a stormy night. That's what tyranids are, and i understand now why people like them.

My main army is salamanders, but had a few tyranids in my collection from the 90s, and picked up the Leviathan box. The endless waves always seemed kind of cool, but never enough to push me forwards as it were.

Recently decided to paint them up, and they've been an amazing palate cleanser from so many marines. They're fun to build/paint, they're cool models and even with just a handful painted already they look way cooler than the same number of marines.
