Does anyone have recommendations for low/hypo snacks that are low in calories?
It's the new year, which means I'm back on the weight loss train! It's not always easy to meet my daily calorie goal when I go low and need to eat or drink something to raise my blood sugar. I've already begun to establish a regular daily routine and program my basal rate accordingly for each time of day (work, sleep, and exercise), but some lows are inevitable, so I was wondering what might be best to keep on hand. For added context, my pump's exercise mode currently doesn't not react quickly enough to account for how sharply my blood sugar can drop during exercise.
I currently use SmartSweets or the reduced sugar Welch's fruit snacks, but would love some recommendations!
