The sex toy industry is barely regulated, and it can be very easy to get toys that are toxic/unsafe. I recommend everyone check out the sub r/sextoys for information on all your sex toys needs and checking their wiki. There a lot of knowledgeable users on there and I've learned so much more than I expected. Talks about safe lube and the different types, inclusive talk about sex toys for various genders, bodies, price ranges, and purposes, trusted sites to shop at and bloggers to follow, guides on how to train safely for certain sex acts, storage and cleaning methods, and finding whatever else you need.
Before that sub, I didn't realize that my first two sex toys were toxic and that I was using the wrong type of lube. Now, I know better than that. As they say, when you know better, you do better. Let's all keep each other happy, informed, and safe!
Make sure to invest in your pleasure!💛
The first 3 lubes I ever used literally made me cry from the burning and I thought I just was allergic to lube in general. Come for me to find out that it’s actually certain bad ingredients. Got lube that didn’t have them and now I have a happy vagina and asshole👍🏾

Oh I’m so sorry for that experience! That must have been very traumatic and nerve wracking for both of you.
Sliquid Sassy and the entire Sliquid brand work really well for a ton of people! I however am not one of those people. I used their Sliquid h20 one and it still burned when I used it. I realized that the common ingredient that all 3 of the lubes I used had citric acid and was the cause of the burning for me personally.
I personally use Wicked Simply’s Aqua Jelle for vaginal play. It’s highly recommended on r/sextoys, is nice and thick but still liquid enough so that a ton of reapplication is not necessary. It’s a bit thicker than the sassy. I love it!
