Does anyone else not go out anymore because having to set boundaries with men is tiring?
Post Body

I’m 25 and I go out sometimes on Fridays to the bars. Last night was kind of my last straw after having uncomfortable conversations or encounters with men. This one guy asked me what gym I go to and I was like, oh do you work out? He said no but I’ll come to your gym and smoke a cigarette outside while you’re working out and come visit you (?!?!) and I responded by saying “oh since I workout I’d only want to go out with someone who works out as well” just trying to put him down lightly. But seriously I’m thinking of not going out again any time soon because it’s so tiring having to turn down conversations. (This isn’t me saying or bragging I get hit on a lot, I just want to know if other women have to put up with constantly trying to create boundaries and have fun at the same time)
