My niece is getting married! But due to the family she’s in (she’s my half-sibs daughter) and the community…. Well it’s gonna be stressful for all sorts of reasons.

She grew up in my hometown years after I left so actually some of my classmates are going to be there because they met her through other ways.

I’m fat but I’m gonna look fabulous.

I’ve been married for nearly 10 years to a fantastic autistic man but we’re in fertile. Most of the people my age at this wedding our grandparents I’m in my late 30s by the way.

I got out of the rural area I grew up and I live in a major city I have professional white-collar job where I’m make more money than the average guy there. These folks will ask you how much you make.

I am a moderate but definitely left-leaning on social issues. A large chunk of these people didn’t think Trump was conservative enough. And to top it all off this is mostly going to be a redneck/ police wedding.

And I have food allergies so I’ll be bringing my own food.

I’m so excited to see her get married and so dreading talking to everyone else!
