I was able to open up with a friend (M) about my experience.
I was sexually assaulted, and my way to cope is to talk about it and let it off my chest and try to boost my confidence a little more so I can stop feeling bad for letting it happen.
He seemed understanding at first, but became a bit rude.
His comments were, āif you get raped, itās your fault. You let yourself get raped.ā āIf you didnāt like it, you wouldnāt fought and pushed him off or voiced out that you didnāt like it.ā
Iām starting to doubt myself. I thought that it wasnāt really my fault for them doing things to me, but now that he said it is. And the way he said it makes me think, maybe it was all on me. If I had said no, if I had screamed or ran. I donāt know, Iām just really sad.
I didnāt know where else to post this.
