Here's the deal. About four months ago, I stopped having a period. I had recently went off birth control(Yaz), so I thought maybe I was just out of whack and it'd take a cycle or two for me to get back to normal. About six weeks ago, I developed a sharp, throbbing pain in my upper right abdomen. It would come and go, so I figured it was probably just a pulled muscle or something. One night, the pain got so bad that I thought I was going to pass out. I was having cold sweats in 95 degree weather.
I went to the ER thinking that I had appendicitis. After a ton of tests and a CT scan, they didn't find anything wrong with me. I did get a prescription for some pain meds, but they didn't really help. I got my period for the first time earlier this month, but I STILL have this horrible pain. Today, I woke up with a small bruise located in the area of the pain. It's dark red and purple. This is what's throwing me off. I have all of the other symptoms of PCOS but I don't think bruising is one of them. I'm going to a doctor later in the week, but I'd really like to get some input and suggestions from you guys. Thoughts?
