Dear Mom,

Thank you for giving me the courage to make an appointment and lead a better life for my sexual health. I know that we’ve been through trauma, and it hurt you to see me emotionally and sexually abused by my former partner two years ago.

However, you helping me pay for this appointment shows to me that you care and support me as I go through life and explore my sexual health. And for that, I’m grateful for your support. This is a step for moving forward for the both of us, and it’s wonderful to be reminded that you care.
