Thinking about breaking up with boyfriend, but he's been so supportive of me through difficult times...
Post Body

I have been with my boyfriend for over 3 and a half years and I currently live with him. He has been through so much with me, like when my mother died and he paid for my plane ticket and helped me out with planning her funeral. He was there for me when I was going through a horrible bout of depression over my old job. He also encourages me to try to get my debts paid off (I only have 5k of student loans left) and doesn't charge me rent, only asks for groceries and help around the house in exchange. He's funny, smart and overall a pretty decent guy.

But I am not happy with him. I can go on about what upsets me about him, but at the end of the day, the biggest issue I have with him is he is LAZY. He is lazy in his responsibilities (except his job), he's lazy in trying to help around the house when I'm working late or make meals with the groceries I buy (he usually eats out on most nights), he's lazy in the bedroom (expects me to come multiple times when he lays around like a dead fish), he's lazy when it comes to getting things taken care of, like bringing his cat to the vet for a severe eye infection over a MONTH before he took her and he scoffed at how much money he had to pay for her care. It hasn't gotten better, even with frequent talks and discussions.

But I still can't shake the feeling I'm being conceited and selfish for not being happy with my relationship. He has been so helpful to me in more ways than one, but I feel like I need to get out.

What should I do?
