I have been overweight my whole life, but have recently lost a significant amount of weight. One thing I’ve noticed, that constantly bugs me, is related to the feeling of my bones on hard surfaces. When I sit on the floor or a hard chair, I’m aware of the bones in my pelvis and spine rubbing against the hard chair. Or at night, when I’m laying in bed (I’m a side sleeper), I’m aware of how uncomfortable the bones of my knees aand ankles are, stacked on and rubbing against each other. My question is, is this something I’m likely sensitive to because it’s new to me, and the sensation will fade as I get used to it? Or is this some thin person thing that all thin people are aware of and just deal with?
